LCR Pride Foundation Community Fund

LCR Pride Foundation has opened applications to a £20,000 fund, for projects that support the LGBT+ community in the Liverpool City Region.

The first tranche of funding, supported by Barclays, comes from reserves initially allocated to deliver the city region’s Pride weekend celebrations. The funding is available as part of three separate pots, a General Fund, Film Fund and an Inclusive Physical Activity and Sport Fund.

All funds in this first round will close to applications at Midnight on the 3rd August 2020.

The Funds

Open Grants – For projects which aim to bring the LGBT+ community together. Grants available up to £1000

Inclusive Physical Activity & Sport – For projects getting the LGBT+ community participating in physical activity. Grants available up to £500

Short Film Commissions – For LGBT+ Film Makers and films about the LGBT+ Community. Grants available up to £1000

All three funds are now open and applications from marginalised or underrepresented groups are particularly encouraged. The deadline for submissions is Midnight on Monday 3rd August 2020 and the first grants are expected to be awarded the following week.

All projects must be completed, or on track to be completed, by April 2021.
