LCVS – Arriva Partnership Promoting Affordable Travel

LCVS are working in partnership with Arriva North West & Wales to promote affordable travel, and supporting vulnerable groups to access transport within the city.

During 2019, Arriva have agreed to contribute 55p to LCVS for every person attending our events who travels with Arriva. This will not only help us continue our work, but also promote environmentally sustainable travel. If you come to an LCVS event by Arriva bus, let us know so we can claim the relevant donation.

Arriva have also donated a number of 1 day travel passes to support refugees and asylum seekers to access local transport and connect with the city.

As part of the LCVS / Arriva partnership we have also agreed to promote a number of different Arriva schemes to help local residents reduce the cost of travelling around the city;

Family tickets – enabling families to travel for half price (£6), need to download the M ticket app.

Direct Purchasing Schemes – offers business to business reductions for groups to purchase travel tickets on behalf of staff and /or clients

Employer Travel Club – enables staff to have access to more affordable annual travel passes (payable by direct debit with Arriva)
