After 5 years at LCVS as our Funding Advisor, John McCormack is moving on to pastures new.
John’s last day will be on Friday 23 September 2022.
During his time with us at LCVS, both in his role as a Funding Advisor and during a previous period with us in our Grants Team, John has worked with a high degree of skill and dedication and a huge level of personal commitment, for which we will always be grateful.
He has helped to raise more than £15m for good local causes in his time with us as Funding Advisor.
John also played a vital role as part of the wider LCVS response to Covid-19, which ensured that the local not-for-profit sector could effectively respond to community need during a time of crisis.
John will be missed as a colleague, though hopefully not as a friend and we will miss his wit, dedication, and incomparable knowledge of 1980s action cinema.
We also wanted to confirm that we are already hard at work in the process of recruiting John’s successor and will continue to offer fundraising support in the meantime.
