Are you a proactive and creative person seeking an opportunity to utilise your marketing and communications expertise to promote vital services in the not-for-profit sector?

For over a century, LCVS has been working to improve the well-being of individuals and communities in Liverpool through supporting and encouraging charitable giving and voluntary action and by bringing people, organisations and resources together. Providing support, advice, training, networking and representation for individuals and charitable organisations across Merseyside, LCVS help donors distribute over £4m every year to charitable organisations who share their values.

About the role

To promote the vital services offered, LCVS is looking for a highly creative Marketing and Communications Officer to raise its profile via written and digital content media. You will use social media, press releases and a range of other media to publicise initiatives, conference facilities and a range of events throughout the year at their impressive base in the heart of Liverpool’s commercial district.

You will work closely with colleagues in response to media queries, with external media partners and suppliers and manage the production of marketing materials. You will be a self-starter with strong organisational, content creation, creative writing, social media and collaboration skills to successfully promote this fantastic organisation.

You may already be an experienced marketing, PR or communications professional, or perhaps you are a high performing recent graduate seeking the opportunity to launch your career in the third sector.
