Lister Steps is looking for an individual with an excellent grasp of numbers, with exceptional communication and analytical skills to join us at this very exciting time in our charity’s development, as we move into our fully refurbished grade 11 listed home and expand our operations to include the delivery of both charitable and commercial services.
This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with a commercial acumen and social vision to help shape the evolving business processes. As such the right person will have the ability to manage the day to day finances of the company whilst looking to the future to identify opportunities for business development and commercial growth.

- To assume a hands on role with responsibility for the end to end financial operations of Lister Steps liaising with a range of people both internally and externally
- To develop and maintain appropriate financial systems for Lister Steps, to ensure systems are regularly updated and provide appropriate information to support claims, budgets and financial forecasting
- To provide sound financial advice to the Trustees and the Chief Executive
- To be a proactive member of the Senior Management Team providing financial information to enable the effective management of department budgets
