Liverpool Biennial is currently recruiting for an Assistant Curator, Programme Assistant and PA and Operations Officer.

Assistant Curator

Salary: £20,388 – £21,955 (depending on qualifications and experience)

Hours: Full-time

Contract: Temporary contract until 30 November 2018

Liverpool Biennial is looking to appoint an Assistant Curator to join the team. The Assistant Curator will support the Programme Team in all aspects of the research, preparation, delivery, production, installation, maintenance and de-installation of the Biennial exhibition and year-round programme of talks, events, publishing and research.

The successful candidate will be educated to a degree level, organised and able to work to tight deadlines, and will have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

Programme Assistant

Salary: £17,261

Hours: Full-time

Contract: Temporary contract until November 2018

Liverpool Biennial is looking to appoint a Programme Assistant to join the team. The successful candidate will work with the Programme Team to provide administrative support, ensuring that deadlines are met and all aspects of programme administration are accurate and up to date.

Experience of working in an arts organisation would be a distinct advantage, but the ideal candidate is someone able to learn quickly, remain calm under pressure and be able to prioritise and show initiative. You should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be very organised.

PA and Operations Officer

Salary: £20,388 – £23,524, depending on qualifications and experience

Hours: Full-time

Contract: Permanent

Liverpool Biennial is looking to appoint a skilled PA and Operations Officer to join the team. If appointed, you would undertake PA duties for the Director and work closely with the Executive Director to support the delivery of the artistic programme and the management of the business. You will also contribute to the successful delivery of company objectives through supporting the provision of effective HR services, facilities and administration.

Experience of working in an arts organisation would be a distinct advantage, but the ideal candidate is someone able to learn quickly, remain calm under pressure and be able to prioritise and show initiative. You should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be very organised.
