Liverpool City Council (LCC) have been awarded £200,000 from the government’s Household Support Fund to help Liverpool’s third sector organisations deal with increased energy costs during the winter months. Eligible businesses can apply for a one-off grant of £500.
This grant is open to small to medium third sector organisations who have a Liverpool based ‘community hub’ – a building or space that provides activities or services to the local community.
To quality for this grant, you must be able to answer yes to the following questions:
- Have your 2024 gas or electricity bills, or both, risen by 50% or more since 2021?
- Are your energy bills in the name of your organisation?
- Is your a building or space that provides activities or services to the local community based in Liverpool?
- Are you a small or medium third sector organisation with an income of less than £1m?
- Is your organisation a non-profit?
- Does your organisation have an up-to-date governing document?
- Does your organisation have an active business bank account in the name of the organisation to pay the grant into?
To be eligible for this grant you must be able to answer yes to these questions on the first page of the online form. You will then be asked to complete the form and upload a copy of a recent bank statement from your organisation.
