Strategic Lead for Major Sporting Events
Liverpool is a place with a belief in the ability of major events to effect long lasting transformational change. It is also one of the great sporting Cities and is fast becoming the destination of choice for many sports governing bodies. It has successfully bid for several world class events taking place over the next four years (World Netball Championships 2019, World Artistic Gymnastic Championships 2022, Special Olympics GB Summer Games 2021 and Rugby League World Cup 2021).
