Liverpool City Council Youth Service Review | Have Your Say

The Department for Culture Media and Sport (DCMS) have published updated guidance for local authorities on their statutory duty to provide young people with access to youth work activities. The new guidance emphasises the requirements for councils to ensure that their provision is effectively meeting the needs of young people in localities.

To respond to this and to inform the youth and play grant programme, Liverpool City Council (LCC) will be undertaking a comprehensive review of the youth provision (service review) across the city. The service review will map local youth work provision, conduct a needs analysis, identify gaps, analyse the local workforce and explore and recommend effective youth work practice.

Liverpool City Council and the National Youth Agency will be working with Youth Focus North West to undertake the focus groups with both young people and Key Stakeholders (adults).

The links for the three Adult Key Stakeholder Focus Groups are below, all events will take place on 28 February 2024:

Please book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment as they have limited places.
