Liverpool Club Survey for Sport and Physical Activity

Liverpool City Council Sports Development is working with Merseyside Sports Partnership to create a survey to gain an understanding of voluntary clubs in Liverpool.

Liverpool Sports Development recognises that voluntary clubs make an invaluable and positive contribution across Liverpool. Clubs not only provide opportunities to be active for all, but also make a significant contribution to the community, in a variety of ways.

Through taking the time to complete this survey you will not only be helping to establish a local picture of voluntary club provision, but also providing vital intelligence on the needs of your club.

The information obtained from this survey will enable Merseyside Sports Partnership to produce a report on behalf of Liverpool Sports Development which can be used to provide:

• Understanding the current structure, characteristics and attributes of the voluntary club sector
• Influence the services and support available locally in order to meet the development needs of voluntary clubs
• Action: provide Liverpool Sports Development with the evidence base, upon which to ensure that the voluntary club sector continues to receive the dedicated support, resources and investment required, now and in the future

The Liverpool Voluntary Club Survey has been split into 4 sections, which ask about your club in general, the workforce that supports your club, your clubs’ sustainability and what your clubs’ support needs and priorities are. The links to each section of the survey are below:

• About your club
• About your workforce
• About your finances
• About your needs

Please ensure each link is shared with the relevant personnel at your club that would be best placed to provide the information required for each respective section of the survey. Please be aware that if you are completing a section of the survey online the software will not allow you to return to the form at the point where you leave it.  In the event that you leave the survey half way through it will require you to start again from the beginning.

Each survey section is independent of the other sections, which means you can complete each section at different times, so not necessarily all of them during one session.

This survey is open until Friday 3 March 2017 at 5pm.

As a thank you, all completed surveys will be entered into a prize draw to win £100 to be spent on your club. There are 10 prizes are up for grabs.
