Congratulations to Liverpool Homeless Football Club on having been shortlisted for a Homeless Link Excellence Award in the category of Social Enterprise of the Year 2019.
Liverpool Homeless Football Club has been providing the men and women of Merseyside with free access to sporting activities, as well as other enriching activities, since 2007. The team works hard to build and develop their network, which helps members to rebuild their lives and fulfill their own potential. They provide training, health support, employment assistance and much more. Plus the organisation has recently become a registered charity.
The Homeless Link Excellence Awards celebrate the best of the homelessness and supported housing sectors, showcasing the innovative, effective work that is taking place around the country to support those experiencing homelessness. Winners of the 2019 awards will be announced at a ceremony, which will form part of the Under One Roof Annual Conference on Tuesday 2 July. We’ll be crossing our fingers for Liverpool Homeless Football Club.
