Liverpool Partnership Project – VCSE Micro Commissioning Funding

The Liverpool Partnership Project has identified funding that it would like to use to commission voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) activity, to help address areas of need that it has identified through its core work in Liverpool.

The main aim of this micro-commissioning is to reduce suicide rates across the Liverpool City Council area. It has been agreed that the £150k funding will be used to target suicide prevention activity with particular emphasis around helping to support at risk groups in Liverpool Place.

The VCSE organisations applying for the funding should be able to demonstrate that they are able to support suicide prevention in terms of:

  • Domestic Abuse
  • Physical Health / Long Term conditions
  • Substance Misuse
  • Cost of Living
  • Students
  • Females.

The project will seek to commission several VCSE organisations through this process. No one organisation can apply for more than £20,000 per submission. The funding will be for a 12-month fixed term period from 1 June 2023 to 31 May 2024.

The service must be delivered within the Liverpool City Council area, for Liverpool City residents.

They will be holding a live Q&A session on Monday 27 March 2023 11 AM – 1 PM, click here to join their virtual session.
