This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic charity and play a key role in leading Local Solutions’ HR Department to support the organisation’s leadership and growth.
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, the successful applicant will become an integral part of the leadership and management team and will be required to provide reports to the Board. Responsibilities include the recruitment, selection and retention of high quality staff, the provision of expert HR advice, managing employee relations, ensuring the company’s compliance with legislation, including GDPR and Gender Pay Gap Reporting, and leading on the achievement of quality awards, such as IiP.
You will have excellent leadership and people management skills working at a senior level, and experience of developing HR Strategies, Policies and Procedures is essential. A pro-active, positive leadership style is needed, along with being able to work in a busy environment. This post requires a person who is good at managing multi-priorities, a team player who is flexible, organized, and able to work well under pressure.
Applicants should be a Chartered CIPD Member and qualified to Level 7 (or working towards) and have a minimum of five years’ experience in HR leadership.
