Vacancies for Volunteers in the Magistracy

Lord Chancellor’s Advisory Committees on Justices of the Peace for Merseyside

If you are a person of integrity, have common sense, the ability to listen to both sides of an argument and make decisions, and you want to give something back to the community, apply to become a Magistrate.

Magistrates do not need to be legally qualified or have any experience, as training is provided. All you need is a willingness to voluntarily serve in court at least 13 full days a year.

For more information, go online or email CM-Advisory@hmcts.gsi.gov.uk.
