Marie Curie Hospice Vacancy – Volunteering Development Officer

Based at Liverpool Hospice – 35 hrs per week
£14,601 per annum

Our Marie Curie team in Liverpool is looking for a Volunteering Development Officer to join its volunteering department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate and confident they can deliver a high quality service.

This new role will support the local Volunteering Business Partner and the Head of Volunteering in growing the programme and increasing the contribution of volunteers, taking Marie Curie to the forefront of volunteering in the UK. It will also support in the development of a high quality experience for all those who choose to give their time to Marie Curie. We offer support and training with this role as well as the option to complete an apprenticeship qualification.

The Volunteering Development Officer will also have ring-fenced time to support their local hospice. Supporting staff on providing high quality volunteer management as well as providing support on volunteer recruitment, induction and training.

This is an exciting development for Marie curie as the team will be supporting volunteers in their local communities.
