Days per week: Mon – Thurs (but can be flexible).

Mary Seacole House is a mental health charity and resource service that provides mental health and well-being support to meet the diverse cultural needs of the primarily Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic and Refugee communities of Liverpool. The service focuses on delivering activities that maximise recovery for people who experience mental health problems, helping them to live, work, study, and access leisure alongside other members of the community.
They are looking for a new member of staff to help oversee the day to day running of the charity. The Admin and Finance Officer will support their CEO and trustees to develop and carry out financial and administrative processes. The main purpose of the job is to:
- Ensure financial information [e.g., income and expenditure] is kept up-to-date and is accurate
- Assist the CEO in creating annual organisation budgets and monitoring cash flow
- Oversee short- and long-term financial reporting
- Develop, maintain, and monitor all fundraising and accounting systems and recommend and implement improvements to systems.
The person will ensure the organisation’s finances are administered efficiently and correctly. The person will also provide general administrative support.
