The Christmas Challenge is the UK’s biggest online match funding campaign which helps UK-registered charities raise funds for their cause. It offers supporters of participating charities the opportunity to have their donation doubled when the campaign goes live on #GivingTuesday, 28 November 2017.
The Christmas Challenge is a live match funding campaign where several hundred charities join together to raise funds over a 7-day period. Donations made on the site are doubled in real time and last year over £7.2 million was raised. This year, the Big Give is celebrating its 10th anniversary and to mark the occasion, the Christmas Challenge is set to be on an even bigger scale with more match funding available than in recent years.
To receive advice and top tips on applying to the campaign, you must register your charity’s interest. After registering, you will need to complete a full application to be considered for the campaign. Applications open on Monday 5 June 2017.
