Match funding platform Localgiving have announced the launch of a new partnership programme with The Foundation for Social Improvement (FSI), The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO), Sported, and the Small Charities Coalition.
Local charities and community groups that are members of these organisations are now able to claim their first year membership of Localgiving for free, giving them the chance to develop their online fundraising capacity. Localgiving differs from other platforms as it works with registered and unregistered groups, and has a staff member based in the North West to provide advice, support and training. Localgiving also run a number of match funding campaigns throughout the year which all members are automatically signed up to, to help to incentivise donations.
