Term: Part-time, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
Hours: 15 hours per week
Salary: £9.30-11.30 per hour
Location: Mencap Cottage House, Crosby (with some time spent at the Mencap Liverpool office, Liverpool City Centre)
This position is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who wants to make a difference.
You will be developing and running a programme of activities for people who have a learning disability. The activities will be based from Mencap Cottage House, but you’ll also be working with other local community groups to connect our beneficiaries with their opportunities
You will design and lead a social program, which will be adaptable for people of differing levels and with multiple needs.
The activities you run will help people who’ve previously been lonely and socially isolated to develop and maintain friendships. The activities will also help to increase confidence and self-esteem as well as giving people the opportunity to try new things.
You will work closely with your colleagues to ensure that our work is holistic, person-centred and constantly strengthened by the voice of our beneficiaries.
