Are you an enthusiastic, personable individual with excellent communication skills and good attention to detail?

Merseyside Domestic Violence Services (MDVS) is looking for a Development Officer to play a vital part in their new project, an integrated safety service for female victims/survivors and male perpetrators of domestic violence. Funded by the Steve Morgan Foundation, this is an exciting new role to help the charity grow in new, interesting and sustainable ways by securing income and developing partnerships with a range of funders.

MDVS is a voluntary organisation working with women, children, young people and families whose lives have been affected in some way by the issues related to domestic violence and cultural/honour-based crime. Since becoming established in 2003 they have developed a multi-agency approach that enables them to deal successfully with many cultural and societal issues, barriers, and stigma associated with domestic violence.

To succeed in this role you will have proven success of securing substantial income from at least one fundraising specialism. This can include community/public fundraising, corporate support or trusts and foundations. In return, this role will provide you with the perfect opportunity to expand your fundraising knowledge and make a huge impact in one of Merseyside’s inspiring charities.
