Merseyside Police will be delivering aid for Ukrainian Refugees, they are looking for donations

The world has been horrified as a humanitarian disaster has unfolded in Ukraine.

In response to this human tragedy, Officers and staff from Merseyside Police will be delivering aid to a distribution point in Poland. The aim is to support some of the 3.2 million people, who have been displaced from their homes in Ukraine following the commencement of hostilities with Russia.

The trip supported by the Chief Constable, will aim to deliver aid donated from local businesses and organisations and will be themed around essential items that make an initial difference, namely;

  • Blankets
  • Shower gels, shampoos, hand gels etc.
  • Towels
  • Sanitary items
  • Diapers
  • Sleeping bags
  • Thermal blankets
  • Toothbrushes
  • Toothpastes
  • Cups (stainless steel)
  • First aid kits, plasters, bandages etc.
  • Crayons
  • Soft toys
  • Colouring books
  • School supplies

Any support or donations, you or your organisation are able to give would be hugely appreciated.
