Term: 6 months fixed term (may be extended)
Hours: 7h a week
Salary: £13 per hour
Location: due to the COVID-19 restrictions the role will be home based with possibility of working at the office in the later months
The Help Link Officer will offer support to the Polish community across Liverpool City Region and especially those who are unable to communicate in English to have a point of contact for the community when they face difficulties and are looking for help.
The role will fulfil those needs and focus on the following deliverables:
- Prepare and promote accessible and easy to understand on-line information on matters such as housing difficulties, issues at work, health problems, finances, budgeting etc
- Offer virtual and face-to-face (as appropriate) support for those who are in difficult circumstances and may need additional help
- Re-establish partnerships with local frontline services to provide more up-to-date information and support
