Merseyside Sports Foundation Vacancy: School Games Officer

Salary: £15,613, rising to £18,065 on 1 April 2019
Contract: Fixed-term until 31 August 2019

Merseyside Sports Foundation is a charitable organisation committed to promoting sport and physical activity. The foundation is seeking to recruit an energetic individual with a passion for developing sport and physical activity for young people across Liverpool City Region, to help achieve the goal of working together to improve the quality of life for all people through sport and physical activity.

The successful applicant will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering the School Games Level 3 events throughout the year whilst supporting the relationship with key partners. The goal being to enable the promotion of connected and sustained participation opportunities for children and young people in sport and physical activity to improve the quality of life for the people of Merseyside. On behalf of the Foundation, you will create and develop School Games competitions across Liverpool City Region which drives the cultural, moral and social development of young people, whilst also contributing to positive physical and mental health outcomes.

This role also has potential for a secondment placement. Please state in your personal specification if you wish to be considered for a secondment.
