Contract: Fixed Term Contract to 31 March 2025.
Term: Part-Time.
Salary: £23,938 p.a. – £27,304 p.a. (Pro Rata) – MYA Scale 5 – Pt. 17-20.
Hours per week: 10 hours x 38 weeks, increasing to 28 per week during 10 weeks of the School Holidays (May include some evening and weekend work).
Reporting to: Line Manager.
Location: Huyton, Kirkby & Whiston.
The post holder will lead a team of sessional disability youth workers, to engage disabled children and young people aged 4-18 years through a short breaks service across Knowsley.
The post holder will assist in the planning, delivery and evaluation of short breaks provision, issue based youth work and life skills programmes for disabled young people in line with funder requirements and service user needs. The post holder will work as part of a team, which provides support to disabled children and young people and assists them to participate in a full range of activities.
The post holder must hold a qualification to at least NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a subject relevant to the requirements of the position.
