Salary: £29,227 – £31,783 p.a. – MYA Grade 6 Pt. 21-24.
Hours per week: 35 hours (Including Evening and Weekend Work).
Reporting to: Line Manager.
Location: Knowsley/Liverpool.

Job Overview

The post holder will co-design, deliver and evaluate an innovative and flexible NCS Targeted Programme, delivering fun and engaging experiences, empowering young people to make decisions and take ownership of their NCS journey.

The posts holder will work across Liverpool, Sefton, and Knowsley planning, delivering, and evaluating a programme of 12-week group work experiences in the following areas:

  • Life Skills and Independent Living
  • Employability and Work Readiness
  • Volunteering and Social Action.

They will be responsible for the recruitment of and engagement with young people who are aged 16-17 yrs old who have complex barriers to engagement. This will include marketing, promotion, and networking to reach the participation targets as set out in the grant agreement.

The post holder will ensure that the programme will build skills, motivation, aspiration, and confidence of participants, as well as providing opportunities for social mixing. The successful candidate will lead consistent, trauma informed youth-work and ensure sessions are fun and empowering, which will support attendance and engagement levels.

As project Co-ordinator, they will be responsible for ensuring the needs of young people are met in line with key funding requirements, and that outcomes and performance are monitored, recorded, and submitted to deadline.

The successful candidate must hold an NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in a subject related to this post.
