Contract: Fixed Term funded to 31 January 2024 (With the Potential to be extended to 31 January 2026).
Term: Full-Time and Part-Time.
Salary: £20,576 – £22,829 p.a. – MYA Grade 4 Pt. 13-16.
Hours per week: 35 and 20 hours per week posts available (May include Evening and Weekend Work).
Location: Knowsley.
Based in their beautiful lakeside outdoor education centre, the post holder will play a vital role in the successful development of Merseyside Youth Association Ltd (MYA’s) Water-Based Outdoor Education Centre. Working closely with MYA’s Outdoor Education Centre Manager, they will deliver a range of safe, fun and interactive activity sessions, whilst carefully managing risk and staying compliant with current Health and Safety standards.
The post holder will be a confident instructor, able to engage groups of children and young people who may not have accessed a water-based offer before and will participate in ongoing training and professional development activities, gaining the skills to deliver multiple water and land-based activities.
The post holder must hold at least one Instructor/Coaching Qualification in a water-based discipline.
