Contract: Fixed Term Contract to 31 March 2025.
Term: Full-Time.
Salary: £20,579 p.a. – £22,829 p.a. (Pro Rata) – MYA Grade 4 – Pt. 13-16.
Reporting to: Line Manager.
Location: Huyton, Kirkby & Whiston.
Contract 1 (multiple posts available)
7 hours per week (1 weekend session) increasing to 28 hours (4 days) during 10 weeks of the school holidays.
Contract 2 (multiple posts available)
28 hours per week (4 days) during 10 weeks of the school holidays.
The post holder will work within a staff team to engage with disabled children and young people, to deliver short breaks provision and youth-led activities.
The post holder will assist in the planning, delivery and evaluation of short breaks provision, issue-based youth work and life skills programmes for disabled young people in line with funder requirements and service user needs.
The post holder will work as part of a team, which provides support to disabled children and young people and assists them to participate in a full range of activities.
The post holder must hold qualification to at least NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in a subject relevant to the requirements of the position.
