Museum of Liverpool Emerging Archeologists

The Museum of Liverpool Emerging Archaeologists (MoLEA) is an exciting new opportunity for young people aged 16-24 to gain direct hands-on experience of their local archaeology through workshops and projects.

MoLEA will meet up to ten times a year, during school holidays.

MoLEA will provide members with the opportunity to develop new transferrable skills and gain insights into archaeology.

Sessions will offer practical hands-on experience and will take place in the Museum of Liverpool’s archaeological finds room.

Who can join?

Young people aged 16-24 who are not currently studying archaeology in higher-level education but are interested in archaeology, heritage and museums. No previous experience is needed.

To find out more, you can book one of their taster sessions on 28 or 29 October in partnership with CITiZAN.

To book your place, please email EmergingArchaeologists@liverpoolmuseums.org.uk.
