There’s plenty going on at The National Wildflower Centre in Huyton this half-term with something for everyone to enjoy:
S & R Birds
Monday 24 October 2016, 11am–3pm:
Come along and say hello to S & R Birds – Rescue Birds of Prey and find out about these wonderful birds. Don’t forget to bring along a camera! Free event.
Explorer Tuesday – Leafy Hedgehogs
Tuesday 25 October, 10am–3pm
Get creative with autumn leaves; make a little leafy hedgehog to celebrate this great British Gardener’s Friend. Free event.
Apple Day
Thursday 27 October, 11am–3pm
Join the Great Outdoors Project team to celebrate the magic of autumn and make the most of the great outdoors. There will be seasonal family activities to celebrate harvest time including apple pressing, apple games, apple art, harvest pizza and apples. RSPB, S & R Birds (rescued birds of prey) and Merseycycle will be there. Entry charge £2 per adult, up to two children free.
The National Wildflower Centre is in Court Hey Park, Roby Road, Huyton L16 3NA.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
