NCS will be awarding grants to local organisations delivering community-based experiences at a grassroots level

From 2023, NCS will be awarding grants to local organisations delivering community-based experiences at a grassroots level, for the first time.

Supported by the National Youth Agency and Street Games, the grants will reflect their commitment to providing young people with the skills to live independently, progress into employment, and bring about positive social change in their communities.

They are inviting youth organisations who may be interested in applying for a grant to attend a Market Engagement event (this will be in-person events set to take place in January 2023, dates TBA). The events will cover their grant criteria, the application process, and share more information about their two types of grant funding; Open to All and Targeted Grants.

NCS offers a range of personal, social, and professional development services focused on young people in England, supporting their transition to adulthood. They exist to ensure that young people become world-ready and work-ready, and are at the heart of a more cohesive society, bridging social divides. Their vision remains relevant and resonant: A country of connected, confident, and caring citizens where everyone feels at home.
