Liverpool Adult Learning Service (ALS) works in partnership with the current provider to support the Social Care sector to meet the growing needs of the population, offering packages of support and qualifications within this service industry.
Through joint working agreement course timetables are developed to provide a variety of qualifications which support the wider employability agenda within Adult Social Care. These include: L1 Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care or L2 Preparing to work in Adult Social Care, L2 Food Safety, L2 Emergency First Aid, L2 Health and Safety at Work and L1 Developing Employability Skills.
Learners under this contract will gain qualifications specific to Social Care under the guidance of qualified tutors who will ideally have personal and professional experience of working in Social Care.
