New Contract: Adults Social Care Route Way Programme Soft Market Test

Liverpool Adult Learning Service (ALS) works in partnership with the current provider to support the Social Care sector to meet the growing needs of the population, offering packages of support and qualifications within this service industry.

Through joint working agreement course timetables are developed to provide a variety of qualifications which support the wider employability agenda within Adult Social Care. These include: L1 Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care or L2 Preparing to work in Adult Social Care, L2 Food Safety, L2 Emergency First Aid, L2 Health and Safety at Work and L1 Developing Employability Skills.

Learners under this contract will gain qualifications specific to Social Care under the guidance of qualified tutors who will ideally have personal and professional experience of working in Social Care. All training will meet Care Quality Standards and it is anticipated that all learners who successfully achieve their qualification aims through the programme will be given direct access to employers seeking to increase their workforce, possibly via Social Care specific recruitment events.

The Liverpool Adult Learning Service are looking for suitably qualified and experience support partners to deliver this programme and are interested in organisations who would be able to deliver this over the next three years.

Your company will need to register on Procontract (Due North) to be able to download the full application and supporting documents. The documents will only be available on Procontract (available via the Due North site).

To register your organisation on Procontract, go to Suppliers’ area and click on ‘Register free’. Once you have registered, you will need to go to the ‘My Opportunities’ section on the home page of Procontract and follow the instructions as a supplier to enable you to return your submission.
