New Contract: Soft Marketing Questionnaire – Support Service for Children Experiencing the Impact of Domestic Abuse

Liverpool has a high prevalence of domestic abuse which impacts on both the adult victim and children in the family who experience the impact of repeated episodes of abuse. The impact of domestic abuse on children and adult victims is well documented and is an escalating national issue. Ofsted have highlighted the need to provide more services that repair some of the emotional harm that children and young people experience as a result of experiencing domestic abuse.

Liverpool City Council is planning to commission a service to provide a preventative therapeutic service that can support children and young people who are suffering the negative effects of domestic abuse. This will prevent the escalation of risk and need. This information is requested as part of a soft market testing exercise in order to seek the market’s views on our plans. There are a number of questions. There is, however, no need to answer all questions in your response.

The responses will be used by the Council to assist in shaping the service specification ready for a procurement exercise. No information provided in the response to the soft market testing will be used in any evaluation of any subsequent response to a procurement exercise.

To download the Soft Marketing Questionnaire document, your company will need to register on Procontract (Due North). The documents will only be available on Procontract (available via the Due North site). Once you have registered, you will need to go to the ‘My opportunities’ section on the home page of Procontract and follow the instructions as a supplier to enable you to return your submission.

Register your organisation on Procontract here. Go to suppliers’ area and click on ‘Register free’.
