New Procurement System to Help People into Work

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) intends to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to procure Work Focused Activities in the Jobcentre Plus Districts in England, Scotland and Wales.

DPS is a new electronic system for setting up and maintaining a list of suppliers and offerings from which provision can be procured and offers a number of commercial and operational advantages for both the buyer and potential suppliers, compared to traditional contracting methods and it supports DWP’s commitment to making government contracts more accessible for Small and Medium Enterprises.
