New tenants take up residence here at LCVS

We would like to extend a warm welcome to Liverpool Community Advice and Livewire Liverpool. Both organisations have recently taken up residence here at 151 Dale Street, adding to the complement of 21 voluntary sector tenants already based in the building.

Owned and managed by Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Services, 151 Dale Street is a hub for voluntary sector activity in the city. If you have visited us lately you may have noticed that extensive refurbishment works took place to the first floor of our iconic, art deco building, prior to the new tenancies commencing.

Support organisation Liverpool Community Advice is an independent charity that provides personal advice to the residents of Liverpool, on matters including money and debts, personal circumstances and issue resolution, amongst others.

Kristian Khan, chief executive of Liverpool Community Advice (LCA), said of the relocation, “We are really pleased to be a part of this voluntary community hub. There is a great synergy between LCA and the other organisations based here at 151 Dale Street. We take a holistic approach to meeting the unique needs of every client; being based at our new home has already allowed us to form stronger bonds with complimentary services, strengthening our offering and making our referral process increasingly seamless, as a result.”

The second new tenant, Livewire Liverpool, provides support and motivation to people who wish to make healthy changes to their lifestyle. Livewire Liverpool Health Trainers and volunteers facilitate individuals to get fitter, control their diet, quit smoking and regain control in other areas relating to well-being.

Vivien Graham, service manager at Livewire Liverpool, said, “The LCVS building is such a beautiful space. It is a pleasure to come to work every day, to the city’s cultural quarter. With the added value of the networking opportunities that our new office affords, we couldn’t be happier with our move.”

Following our new arrivals 151 Dale Street is now close to capacity but we do have some remaining office space, as well as hot desks available from £10 per half day and virtual office services.
