Description:
Norris Green Community Alliance is a small registered charity based in Norris Green Liverpool. It was formed in 2009 by local residents and practitioners in the area and works together with the community to bring about change and develop projects.
The Alliance has funding to appoint a Lead Playworker through BBC Children in Need for work with children and young people.
Norris Green Community Alliance is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, Play Leader to join our hard working team. If appointed you will work on our holiday playscheme project and our after school provision. The Play Leader will be based in either: Norris Green Youth Centre, Townsend Lane, Liverpool or Russell Community Rooms, Sparrowhall Road, L9 with the other Play Workers and volunteers.
Start date:
February 2020 onwards- June 2020 with expectation to extend to a 3- year contract.
Hours:
23 Play Leader per week @ £8.75/9 per hour depending on experience (hours accumulated over school holidays +) After School Provision Monday to Thursday 2.45/3 pm – 6/6.15 pm. Playscheme school holidays 9.30 am – 3.30 pm. (No Playscheme to be held during Christmas/ December school holidays.)
