North Liverpool Foodbank Vacancy – Foodbank Coordinator

Are you passionate about making a difference to those who are hungry or struggling to put food on the table in Liverpool today?

St Andrew’s Community Network is seeking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic individual to oversee all aspects of the delivery of North Liverpool Foodbank. This includes encouraging emergency food donations, coordinating the storage and distribution of emergency food, and supporting partners to ensure the best possible support to vulnerable people.   We require the ideal candidate to have a demonstrable knowledge of what foodbanks are for, the way they work and the values they hold.

North Liverpool Foodbank is a complex operation involving multiple volunteers and partnerships with other churches and community groups.  Working alongside a team of volunteers, logistics driver and development officer this role is a wide and varied role that requires the ability to plan very effectively and will need excellent organisational and management skills.  The ideal candidate must have experience of managing diverse projects and people.

We’re looking for an eye to detail, an ability to assure quality, and encourage positive changes in practice.  You must be able to work effectively as part of a team but be self-motivation and a good communicator.

The post is 22.5 hours per week normally spread between Monday – Friday, paid at £23,166 pro-rata.  Occasional weekend work will be required.  Due to the limitations of our insurance policy, you will hold a current, valid driving license and be over the age of 25.
