Nugent Care is one of the leading charities in the North West of England. The charity provides health and social care services to people of all ages

The charity is recruiting for a trustee (Ref: 6916/CEN) and two governing body members (Ref: 7016/CEN). These roles offer an exciting opportunity to contribute to the effective governance of Nugent by helping the organisation to achieve its mission.

Nugent Care is a diverse agency which is reflected in the Board of Trustees and Governing Body Members. Trustee applicants must have experience and qualifications in social work or health care. Governing Body Members must have ecumenical experience and a background in IT Management or Commercial Business Development.

All applicants should be committed to the concepts of Social Inclusion and Equality and Diversity.

Nugent Care recognises the value of Trustees and Governing Body Members to the organisation and therefore the commitment is four meetings per year and one day training. Other involvement is by mutual agreement.

Trustees and Governing Body Members are unpaid however expenses are reimbursed for meetings and other appropriate activities.
