Nugent is a charitable organisation which offers a diverse range of support to adults and children across Liverpool and throughout Merseyside.

The organisation is currently recruiting for a volunteer coordinator

Hours of work: 20 hours per week
Ref: 0033/CEN
Location: Central Office and the local community

Nugent has a dedicated volunteer team that support throughout Merseyside. The passionate team consists 150 of volunteers who gave over 12,400 hours of support within 2017/2018, they are vital to the smooth running of the charity. Nugent is honoured to have won the Community Volunteer Awards the last 3 years, thanks to this outstanding team.

Nugent is looking to recruit a driven individual to promote, recruit and support our volunteer services. Within this role you will visit community groups, attend/create events across the Archdiocese and support on-going recruitment for volunteers. The successful candidate will create strong relationships with schools, parishes, volunteer centre’s and community services.

To be effective within this role you will require knowledge and awareness of the needs of vulnerable people and disadvantaged groups. You will have experience working with volunteers and have an understanding of the Catholic parishes and schools within the Archdiocese. You will have the ability to forge good working relationships and project manage. A recognised social care qualification is desirable but not essential.
