Contract: Permanent.
Term: Flexible hours available, between 28 (0.8FTE) – 35 (FT).
Salary: Pro rata of £19,538, with future progression to £21,953.
Hours per week: Flexible hours available, between 28 (0.8FTE) – 35 (FT).
Reporting to: Head of Income Generation & Business Development.
Location: The role can be remote based at home, or office based, or a combination of office/home based, depending on your preference. Their office locations are Birkenhead or Birmingham.

Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join their Income Generation and Business Development team where you will undertake a variety of administrative tasks to support with tender proposals, charitable grants and fundraising.

You will play an essential role by assisting the team in preparing and submitting high quality, timely tenders and grant applications. This will involve you coordinating application activity to ensure submission deadlines are met.

You will be required to provide data from their case management system in support of tender and grant applications and to communicate and provide information across NYAS on tender specification requirements.

In your application, you will need to evidence, using specific examples, how your skills and experience meet the criteria laid out in the person specification, within the job description attached. Requirements include:

  • Experience of administrative tasks and requirements
  • Excellent IT skills including a good working knowledge of MS Office applications and willingness to learn how to use e-tendering portals
  • Ability to communicate effectively and to a high standard both orally and in writing to a wide range of people
  • Highly articulate, with experience of preparing concise, accurate and coherent written information
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and within agreed timescales.
