OneFamily customers can nominate community projects for an award of £5,000 or £25,000.
One project can receive up to £25,000 and eight projects up to £5,000 in each of the following categories:
• Health, disability and social care
• Education (up to 500 students)
• Education (more than 500 students)
• Sports and social groups
• Youth and affiliated organisations
Seven projects can also be awarded up to £5,000 in the new Developing Skills category. Under this category, OneFamily customers can nominate a person to receive funding of up to £5,000 to train or learn a new skill that can be taken back into their local community – ideal for anyone who wants to volunteer, but lacks the funding and relevant training.
Nominations close Wednesday 19 October 2016.
