Pancreatic Cancer UK is offering an exciting part-time volunteering opportunity (1-2 days per month) to support the regional team in the North West (Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside). The Information Volunteers will help the team to reach people throughout the North West who are affected by a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, providing them with access to our information and support.
You will have excellent communication skills, a good knowledge of Pancreatic Cancer UK services, an empathy for people affected by pancreatic cancer, and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and personal boundaries.
In return, you will gain experience in a busy, friendly team, meet new people, receive support and induction, reimbursement for volunteer expenses, as well as the satisfaction of making a valuable contribution to the work of Pancreatic Cancer UK.
