People First Merseyside is currently recruiting for two motivated and enthusiastic Project Development Workers to run the DAVID project (Dignity And Voices In Dying) funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. This is a unique 5-year project that will support people with learning disabilities to know about death and dying, enable them to plan for their future making death a less frightening subject.
The successful candidates will be joining a friendly and proactive team who are passionate about improving the lives of people with learning disabilities.
DAVID Project Development Worker – delivery and facilitation (FT)
Ref – 1DF.
Salary – £22,958 (per annum) 35 hours per week
The post holder will be responsible for day to day project delivery with main responsibilities including: supporting people with learning disabilities to develop the project, facilitating working groups to produce resources, administration and monitoring.

DAVID Project Development Worker – Delivery and emotional support (FT)
Ref – 2DE
Salary – £22,958 (per annum), 35 hours per week.
The post holder will have counselling experience and will be responsible for supporting people with learning disabilities to develop the project whilst ensuring their emotional needs are met. They will also be responsible for day to day project delivery.
Interview date – Tuesday 2nd July 2019
