Police Experience Survey for victims of rape and sexual assault

Being a victim of rape or other sexual offences and going through a police investigation can be difficult. This survey is about how the police handled your case and how they responded to you.

If you are:

  • over 18 years old
  • a victim of rape or sexual assault
  • whose case has been investigated by a police force in the UK.

They want to hear about your experiences of the police.

Their survey aims to give voice to victims, and all views and experiences, both positive and negative, will be valuable in helping police forces to improve. You can complete the survey more than once, either about the same case if your experience has changed, or about a different case.

Completing the survey should only take 10 minutes. You can skip any questions you don’t want to answer, and you can exit the survey at any time. Please only complete the survey if you feel safe and comfortable to do so.

Deadline: 30 June 2024.
