Job Overview

To lead on, develop and deliver centre & street-based activities for groups/individuals, school programmes and services that will be delivered in from their new Club & in specified area of the
community to meet the personal and social development needs of young people in Liverpool. It is essential that you work regular evenings and weekends

Some duties will include

• To lead, inspire & assist a small Youth Development Team, Apprentices, Sessional staff, volunteers directly involved in the delivery of activities. Direct line management for the Youth
  Development Team will be by the Team Manager initially at least.
• To lead on, plan, organise, and deliver effectively, a range of personal development programmes that improve outcomes for young people. This will include Crime and ASB, Informal Education, Mental Health, and Personal Development.
• To work at ‘grass roots’ level, on the streets, in parks and centres, on a significant number of evenings and weekends providing open & accessible activities to local children & young
• Develop relationships and work in partnership with Schools, Social Care Services, Targeted Support Services and Early Help etc.
