Salary: £25,000 p.a.
Hours: 35 Hours per week
Responsible To: Operations Manager
Fixed Term Contract until: December 2020 (with a strong likelihood of extension after this time)
Objective of Post
The Office Administrator role contributes to the sound management of PFNL providing specialist skills in accounts, payroll and administration.
The post holder will provide administrative support to the team, work closely with the senior Management Team and report directly to the Operations Manager.
Some duties will include
- Payroll:
Liaise with payroll provider regarding starters and leavers, additional or overtime payments
Preparation of payroll information for payroll provider including calculation of bank staff timesheets - Computerised Book Keeping and Accounts:
Liaise with external finance support
Ensure all income and expenditure is accurately provided to external support - Payment of Suppliers:
Ensure goods are ordered in accordance with agreed procedures
Ensure payments are correctly authorised - Grant Applications:
Assist CEO & Operations Manager to prepare financial information required for funding applications
Assist with the financial monitoring with regards to successful funding applications - PF Monitoring System:
Input data
Pull off reports as and when required - Administration & Management:
Ensure that effective administrative and financial support is provided to the staff team
Participate in induction of team members with regard to administrative process and procedures - Health & Safety:
Ensure effective day to day maintenance and compliance with Health and Safety requirements
Report major repairs or maintenance requirements to the appropriate department/ person and deal with promptly within Positive Futures Guidelines
