Salary: £20,000 pro rata
Hours: 20 hours per week
Responsible To: Operations Manager
Fixed Term Contract until: March 2020 (with a strong likelihood of extension after this time)

Objective of Post

To develop and deliver centre & street-based activities for groups/individuals, school programmes and services that will be delivered in a specified area of the community to meet the personal and social development needs of young people in Liverpool.

It is essential that you work regular evenings and weekends.

Some duties will include

• To plan, organise, and deliver effectively, a range of personal development programmes that improve outcomes for young people. This will include Crime and ASB, Informal Education, Mental Health and Personal Development.
• To work at ‘grass roots’ level, on the streets, in parks and centres, on a significant number of evenings and weekends providing open & accessible activities to local children & young people.
• Develop relationships, through the Programmes Coordinator, with various agencies involved in the project, e.g. Drugs and Alcohol Support. Targeted Services, Sports clubs and residents.
• To maintain accurate records for monitoring and reporting purposes including verbal and written information on progress, issues, futures plans and to maintain accurate supporting financial records.
