Priority Youth Project works with children and young people aged 8-19 years across Liverpool East providing life changing opportunities through offering a series of centre based, detached, mobile youth provision and 1-1 counselling. The charity provides support, education and leisure activities to develop young people’s skills and improve opportunities, enabling them to advance positively into mature responsible individuals.
Job Summary
This role involves working within a team to address the educational, leisure, and recreational needs of children and young people aged 8-19 in Liverpool East. Responsibilities include planning, delivering and evaluating a wide range of educational, health, sports and recreational programmes. This role requires the candidate to effectively line manage staff, conduct 1-1 staff reviews as well as holding responsibility for petty cash/budgets.
The candidate must hold a recognized qualification at Level 3 or higher in a relevant subject relating to children & young people and have experience working with children and young people. Additionally, the role requires close collaboration with the community and supporting families to ensure their needs are met.
