Promoting Grass Roots Co-operation between Great Britain and Ireland – spaces still available

The Centre for Cross Border Studies has places available for the free workshop taking place 11am – 1pm on Wednesday 13 March at LCVS.

It will be the opportunity for community representatives from England to voice their views of the draft , a new agreement for cooperation within and between communities in the UK and Ireland.

This event will allow people to discuss the vision for grass-roots cooperation between all parts of Great Britain and the island of Ireland that has been developed by a range of groups from Northern Ireland and Ireland, and to suggest any changes to be agreed at an Evaluation Seminar in Northern Ireland, to which representatives from England will also be invited. The final version of the New Common Chapter will then be taken to political leaders in all parts of these islands to inform policy making decisions that will impact on local communities.

So if you are interested in promoting better links between the UK and Ireland or have service users from both communities and want to support them more effectively.

Register for your place now.
