PSS is looking for trustees who are full of enthusiasm and driven to support the organisation continue to develop innovative ideas.
There are many changes taking place in the third sector as a whole and in this specialist area, and PSS is looking for people who can help the charity to navigate its way through. People who can help PSS make the most of any opportunities that come its way but at the same time being mindful of the challenges it faces.
The roles require a time commitment of, on average, half a day per month. This generally includes attendance at Board meetings and sub committees along with meeting prep, visits to the services as well as Board development and strategic planning events. The meetings generally take place in the late afternoon to ensure minimum interruption of the working day.
