Trekking along the Great Wall of China is one of the great classic adventures, giving you an insight to an incredible country and an amazing people. Dominating the scenery to the north of Beijing, the Great Wall of China is one of the most outstanding structural feats ever completed by man.
Construction started in the 5th century BC and at its peak stretched for over 6,000km, up to 7m high and 7m thick with 25,000 battlements. This trek will give you the opportunity to experience and marvel at one of the wonders of the world.
R Charity is raising £10m to ensure that the New Royal goes beyond even the NHS promise of care. The plan is to invest in the latest high-technology equipment for diagnoses and treatments, concentrating on 10 areas of excellence that will benefit every single patient, family and friend entering the doors of the New Royal. R £10m appeal will help to give Merseyside the Royal it really deserves.
Participants at this trek are asked to take on a challenge that will require you to trek for five consecutive days along the Great Wall of China. You will be in China for this demanding yet culturally rewarding challenge from Monday 25 September to Wednesday 4 October 2017. This can be exhausting, so to make the most of the experience, you will need to be reasonably fit or a regular walker!
The cost of this adventure is £1,700.
